Remarkably Created Blog Tour- November Edition

Welcome to our November Tour- so glad you stopped by!
Sharing my November 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit with you today.  It just arrived in my mailbox yesterday so I had to assemble the kit.

The box is blue this month - how cool- I'm always excited to see what the kit will be and I love receiving it in the mail.

The kit includes everything you need to complete 8 Christmas Cards.

How cute is the completed card! Want to see what else you can create with the kit?

I had a 4 x 4 inch frame at home- so I created a framed piece for my desk at work.

I adhered the die cut pieces to a canvas I had- so a new ornament for my tree this year!

Hope you enjoyed my creations - don't forget the On-line extravaganza starts tomorrow- check out my website for my information!

Onstage 2016

I'm back!!  I spent the weekend in Secaucus, NJ attending OnStage - a training event hosted by Stampin' Up.  What a fabulous  weekend.  Time connecting with friends from all over. A chance to see and create with NEW Products!!  and Prize patrol. I came home with 4 new stamp sets from the upcoming Occasions Catalog that will be available in Jan.  I've placed my order for several more new stamps sets, paper and embellishments tonight so I can start creating samples for upcoming classes and events.  Can't wait to start showing you some sneak peeks later this week!!

Loved the table decorations - Our theme was Celebrating YOU !  Bottom picture is my roommate  for this event and friend Jenn who lives in CT.

Hope you have a creative day!
Blessings,
Missy

October Paper Pumpkin

Stampin Up offers a monthly craft-in-the-mail subscription kit.  It's always a surprise- and most kits can be completed in 30 minutes.  All supplies are included (except snips) so it's a great option for on-the-go crafting, college students, young artists, older family members or anyone!  Have you tried it yet?

Well here is my kit this month....

This kit makes 8 shaker cards - and includes the cardstock bases, envelopes, die cut pieces to embellish, bakers twine, adhesive, an ink spot and an exclusive stamp set.

Here are the pieces as I'm creating.

And a finished card!  Now to create some alternative projects.

Think you're not crafty or don't want a lot of stuff- then Paper Pumpkin is for you!

Watch my events on my facebook page (Creative Blessings with Missy) for an upcoming night in Nov.to try Paper Pumkin for FREE!

I hope to hear from you!  Leave a comment of what you'd like to see, what posts you like or don't, just let me know you read my post, lol.

Home Decor

I love creating framed art to hang in my home.  This was a project that I created for our Holiday Catalog Launch last month.  The images on this piece are stamped from the Mountain Adventure Stamp Set # 142194 and Glamper Greetings #142202.

Here is the framed piece

And  close up- can you see the glittering snow on the mountains!
How cool would it be to go Glamping in the mountains in the Snow!

Casing the Catalog

The Stampin' Up design artist spend hours creating the beautiful samples in our catalogs and sometimes I love to case the catalog!  I created this card several weeks ago at the RemARKable Retreat at about 3 o'clock in the morning.  Wanted to create, but had just woken up for my shift, so it was a great time to case!

The original card is on page 129 of the Annual Catalog.

Have fun creating!

RemARKable Blog Tour-Designer Series Paper

Welcome to our October Edition of the RemARKabl Created Blog Tour!  Fall is defiantly in the air here on the east coast, days are getting shorter, air is getting cooler and I had to scrape frost off my windshield already!    Fall is a great time to craft and create- gather your friends and pull out some supplies and see what everyone creates.  During the month of October Stampin' Up is running an amazing sale- great time to stock up!

So many beautiful papers- ready to see some projects I created .....

This is the time of year that I do several Craft fairs, so it's time for some treats and giftables.

These wrapped Hershey Nuggets treats are always in demand- they make a great co-worker gift, stocking stuffer or treat for a friend.  It's also a great way to use up scraps from other projects.  The nuggets are wrapped with a 1" x 3" piece of DSP and placed in a cello bag with a cardstock topper (3" x "3 folded in half- stamped and deorated).  Just use a stapler to attach the topper to the bag.  Quick and Easy and who doesn't like chocolate!

I really love the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper  and it was in my DSP order this month!

Here is another treat I'm creating for the craft fairs.

Combined  the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamped Images with the Candy Cane Lane DSP- they ar bright and cheery!

These treats have a snack size Hershey bar in them.  A piece of cardstock cut at 3 1/2" X 7 1/2" and scored @ 1/4", 1 5/8", 2 7/8", & 3 1/4".  DSP  cut at 1" x 3 1/4"  & 3 x 3 1/4".   Round the corners of the top of the cardstock and the top of the larger DSP piece ,  Adhere the DSP fold and adhere-insert treat add the punched stamped image!

One more project -

I'm always making lists and jotting down notes and reminders- so I covered Composition notebooks with our beautiful Floral Boutique DSP, a stamped image, some matching washi tape and a bakers' twine bow.

Couldn't stop at just one!

Hope you get inspired to create with these beautiful Designer Series Papers- and don't forget they are buy 3 get 1 free till the end of this month!

Thanks for stopping by - if you enjoyed my projects leave a comment and feel free to pin them to pinterest!

Blessings, Missy

Next stop Connie- looking forward to seeing what she has created!

Remarkable Blog Tour- Halloween

Welcome Back to our Halloween Edition of the RemARKable Blog Tour!
It's the perfect time of year to start creating Halloween treats and I wanted something a little different for my coworkers at the office this year.  I love the Jar of Haunts stamp set # 142247 from the Holiday catalog and this set was my go to for this project.

These Clear Tiny Treat Boxes #141699 are the perfect size to fill with Hershey kisses!

Add some Halloween Night DSP # 142022 (I cut a 1 inch strip and used my Fringe Scissors # 133325 to add some frill.  Stamped the greeting with Pumpkin Pie ink #126945, cut it out with the Lots of Labels Framelits #138281 and tied it to the package with the Halloween Night Bakers Twine #142027)

Love this sweet smiling face of this Pumpkin - Some more of the Halloween night DSP and Bakers Twine are used around the box.  The pumpkin is stamped on Whisper White cardstock and colored in with Pumpkin pie and Old olive markers.  And the smile is stamped with Basic Black ink and poped on with a dimensional.

Hoping my coworkers will love these little treats!

Blessings, Missy

RemARKable Blog Tour- Thoughtful Branches

Welcome back to the August edition of the RemARKable Blog Tour.  Summer is winding down and it's a great time to start thinking about creating some great projects.  The Annual catalog has so many great stamp sets, paper and embellishments - have you started creating with them yet?

I thought I'd share the August limited - exclusive stamp set and bundle with you.  If you haven't purchased it yet you still have a few days or while supplies last.

Here is a Z card I created using the stamp set. This fun fold card has a WOW factor, but still can be mailed as a standard card.

My fall color combination is Cajun Craze, Old Olive and So Saffron.  Love these colors together!

Hope you are enjoying the tour and feel free to pin my creation to Pinterest and leave me a comment.

Blessings, Missy

RemARKable Blog Tour

Welcome back to the RemARKable Blog Tour!  Hope you enjoy our new day and time for the tour.  We will be posting on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 8 PM and we look forward to inspiring you each month!

There are so many great stamp sets in this years Catalog it's hard to choose what to create with.  I decided to use Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set and Sunshine Wishes Framelits to create this card.  I've seen many amazing fun fold cards on Pinterest lately and I wanted to give this Pop Up Panel Card a try- so here is my card.  I found the directs for this fold on a you tube video by Kevin Devine-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHVW6IX3J4M So Saffron, Soft Sky, Calypso Coral and Whisper White is the Color Combo.

Front of the card

Card opened- love how the panel pops out!

What a fun card to create and I can't wait to send this to a friend who is celebrating a birthday!

Blessings, Missy
