Remarkable Pinworthy Tour - Tie One On!

It is the most wonderful time of the year!  First I'm back to creating!  Took some time off as I completed a college class.  I passed the class and am now studying for a certification test.  But I'm taking a few days to enjoy the season!  Love all the lights and music this time of year.  I also love creating my own packaging and tags for gift giving.  I hope you enjoy what I've created and please feel free to "PIN" the samples to your Pinterest board.

I had a lot of scraps on my table from Christmas cards I was creating, so I used what was available to create the following three tags.  First I needed a tag for a bottle of wine I'm giving.

Love how this came together!   Simple quick and easy!

Next I needed a tag for a gift bag for a man.  I think this is perfect!

My final tag is a gift for a friend who loves skittles and old jars.

All tree tags used scraps of cardstock, DSP, and ribbons.  Just added some stamped images and embellishments.  Total time to create - under an hour from start to finish!

Hope you have time this holiday season to "Tie One On!"
Merry Christmas and a Creative New Year!
Blessings, Missy

Sneak Peak!!!

I spent yesterday with friends creating with products from the new catalog.  It's one of the perks of being a Happy Shopper - you get the new product a month before it is available for everyone else!

I love gift giving and gift packaging- so I spent some time using a new Curly Keepsake Box Thinlits Box.  Want to see what I came up with???

Here's my fall pumpkin gift box.  Isn't it cute??

I can see this as a table favor or a treat for a co-worker.  Tuck a piece or two of candy inside and you will make someone's day!

Okay, I couldn't stop at one- so here's the next one...

I saw this on pinterest and had to case it...can't wait to fill some of these to hand out during the holidays!

Needed a third one - so how about and original design - here's Tom the Turkey- love him!!

Can't you just see him on the table for Thanksgiving!

While I was creating these, my friend Jan created something for the golf enthusiast in your life-

This thinlit is a must have  - I'll be posting a class soon where we will create these amazing gift boxes.  Don't forget the Big Shot special that is going on right now- it's the perfect time to be a Happy Shopper.

Like my facebook and pinterest pages to see what I'm creating next!

RemARKable Pinworthy Blog Tour- New Beginnings

Ready for a new beginning?  We are!! And I have a new blog site - what do you think??
There are so many new beginnings in my life right now - new blog, school is starting soon, both for work and I will become a student again after soooo many years.  We have a family wedding at the end of August and many other NEW things are about to happen,  So what did I want to create for New Beginning??? I have spent the summer giving my home a new look.  My friend Jan and I took a road trip to Lucketts in VA and I found this amazing old window that already had been fitted with a chalkboard painted panel.

This beautiful piece has a New Beginning in my home- just needed to add something to it.  The Stampin Up Chalboard Banner Kit was perfect. Here's a link to a video from Stampin Up on this kit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dkalaey44sU

Here's what I did with the kit-

This banner was so easy to make- everything you need is included in the kit - and it came together quickly!  I also used the stencils from the Build A Banner Simply Created Kit to chalk the letters blessed on the pieces.

I'd love to read you r comments - have you given a New Beginning to an old piece??

I think this is the best one yet!  We are planning an event this fall with a Western Theme and I'm sure that we will use this stamp set for decorations, invites and Project Life  pages.  I can't wait to start creating with this set - stop back next week for some samples or head over to Stampin'Up to see the samples on their  blog!

I spent some time in July creating with my friend Deb and we decided to make Christmas cards using DSP from the Annual Catalog.  Here's the first one:

This card is a clean and simple card and I love how it came out!

(Just realized that the Textured Embossing Folder that I used is retired.  Sorry about that but I'm sure that  #132174- Stylish Strips would look awesome)
