October Paper Pumpkin

Stampin Up offers a monthly craft-in-the-mail subscription kit.  It's always a surprise- and most kits can be completed in 30 minutes.  All supplies are included (except snips) so it's a great option for on-the-go crafting, college students, young artists, older family members or anyone!  Have you tried it yet?

Well here is my kit this month....

This kit makes 8 shaker cards - and includes the cardstock bases, envelopes, die cut pieces to embellish, bakers twine, adhesive, an ink spot and an exclusive stamp set.

Here are the pieces as I'm creating.

And a finished card!  Now to create some alternative projects.

Think you're not crafty or don't want a lot of stuff- then Paper Pumpkin is for you!

Watch my events on my facebook page (Creative Blessings with Missy) for an upcoming night in Nov.to try Paper Pumkin for FREE!

I hope to hear from you!  Leave a comment of what you'd like to see, what posts you like or don't, just let me know you read my post, lol.

Home Decor

I love creating framed art to hang in my home.  This was a project that I created for our Holiday Catalog Launch last month.  The images on this piece are stamped from the Mountain Adventure Stamp Set # 142194 and Glamper Greetings #142202.

Here is the framed piece

And  close up- can you see the glittering snow on the mountains!
How cool would it be to go Glamping in the mountains in the Snow!

Casing the Catalog

The Stampin' Up design artist spend hours creating the beautiful samples in our catalogs and sometimes I love to case the catalog!  I created this card several weeks ago at the RemARKable Retreat at about 3 o'clock in the morning.  Wanted to create, but had just woken up for my shift, so it was a great time to case!

The original card is on page 129 of the Annual Catalog.

Have fun creating!

RemARKable Blog Tour-Designer Series Paper

Welcome to our October Edition of the RemARKabl Created Blog Tour!  Fall is defiantly in the air here on the east coast, days are getting shorter, air is getting cooler and I had to scrape frost off my windshield already!    Fall is a great time to craft and create- gather your friends and pull out some supplies and see what everyone creates.  During the month of October Stampin' Up is running an amazing sale- great time to stock up!

So many beautiful papers- ready to see some projects I created .....

This is the time of year that I do several Craft fairs, so it's time for some treats and giftables.

These wrapped Hershey Nuggets treats are always in demand- they make a great co-worker gift, stocking stuffer or treat for a friend.  It's also a great way to use up scraps from other projects.  The nuggets are wrapped with a 1" x 3" piece of DSP and placed in a cello bag with a cardstock topper (3" x "3 folded in half- stamped and deorated).  Just use a stapler to attach the topper to the bag.  Quick and Easy and who doesn't like chocolate!

I really love the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper  and it was in my DSP order this month!

Here is another treat I'm creating for the craft fairs.

Combined  the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamped Images with the Candy Cane Lane DSP- they ar bright and cheery!

These treats have a snack size Hershey bar in them.  A piece of cardstock cut at 3 1/2" X 7 1/2" and scored @ 1/4", 1 5/8", 2 7/8", & 3 1/4".  DSP  cut at 1" x 3 1/4"  & 3 x 3 1/4".   Round the corners of the top of the cardstock and the top of the larger DSP piece ,  Adhere the DSP fold and adhere-insert treat add the punched stamped image!

One more project -

I'm always making lists and jotting down notes and reminders- so I covered Composition notebooks with our beautiful Floral Boutique DSP, a stamped image, some matching washi tape and a bakers' twine bow.

Couldn't stop at just one!

Hope you get inspired to create with these beautiful Designer Series Papers- and don't forget they are buy 3 get 1 free till the end of this month!

Thanks for stopping by - if you enjoyed my projects leave a comment and feel free to pin them to pinterest!

Blessings, Missy

Next stop Connie- looking forward to seeing what she has created!
