I know - Halloween isn't here yet, but I spent time this weekend creating for upcoming craft fairs and I'm excited to share my Quilted Christmas creations with you (8 different creations) 4 on this blog and 4 on my Creative Blessings with Missy facebook page.

Starting today with this beautiful card- Clean and simple with a touch of gold foil and I'm in love with the Stitched Felt Embellishments!  You'll see them alot this week.

Year of Cheer Giftbox

Happy Monday!  We finished up our retreat yesterday and the weather was sunny and 70.  I so wish it would stay like this all fall.

I was able to create lots of fun items for the upcoming craft fairs so I'll share one with you today.

Love the new acetate boxes - this time I filled them with Ghirardelli wrapped Chocolates.

I used Year of Cheer DSP to wrap the chocolates and to decorate the box.

What an elegant gift!

Year of Cheer Card Card

I spent some time this weekend creating Finished Card Kits that will be on Sale at upcoming Craft Fairs and a future on-line event. Starting today with a Year of Cheer Kit. This is the finished set.

Loving the clear a acetate boxes to put my completed cards in - a quick belly band that is embellished adds a fun touch and the box can be reused to hold a gift for someone else.

The box includes 4 cards- all the cards are embossed and I love the metallic look of the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I added some foil paper to a few of them.

When life gives you scraps

It's day 2 of the retreat and I found myself with a lot of scraps at the end of the day.  What do you do with all those scraps of paper? I have several Craft Fairs in the next month so I decided to create some fun Birthday cards with the scraps.  

I started with scraps from the Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper #144125,  Some of the paper I cut into 1" strips and others I punched with the Balloon Bouquet Punch #140609.

Added these elements to some Very Vanilla Cardstock # 101650 and stamped Happy Birthday from the Best Birds Stamp Sets #141525.  A  ribbon bow completes the card.

Here are 3 of the finished cards (ended up with 14 completed cards).
