Watercolor Class

Held a Watercolor Technique Class- my technique classes are small to allow for more individual instruction,  The ladies loved learning some mew techniques and the projects.

This project was done on Watercolor paper and we used the Brusho powders to create the watercolor wash over the embossed image.

Ink pad to wax paper then spritz with water - watercolor paper laid on top and then heat dried and stamped images.

Final project was just a watercolor wash using reinkers and aquapainters. Heat set and then the images were stamped on the canvas.

Inspiration - part 2

So last Sunday I shared what I do when I need some inspiration- (see post from 6/17)- that post shared two cards I found on pinterest - the first card I liked the layout - so here is the card I created CASEing the layout from that card.

I used the Rooted in Nature Bundle, Foliage Frame Framelits, and Stitched  Shape Framelits.

The second card I posted inspired me to create a shaker card.

This card is a TOTAL CASE from the catalog.  Loved the card and didn't want to change a thing!

I LOVE shaker cards - need to create more!

Sea of Textures Bundle was used.

Saturday Crafting

I'm blessed to spend most Saturdays with my Grandson.  He is 3 and loves to do anything with you.  Today he helped make breakfast - delicious french toast with fresh strawberries.  Since it was raining we stayed inside and he spied my stamps on the table and wanted to stamp.  He's watched before, but today we created a card for his mommy.  Teh video shows his practice stamping on some scrap cardstock.

He wanted to stamp boats, so I pulled out Swirly Bird Stamp Set and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets.

All the color choices were his.  Cardstock is from my scrap bin which still has some retired colors (not sure if the blue & green are current or retired).  His ink choices  were Highland Heather, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce,  Rich Razzleberry and Balmy Blue.  Greeting is from the Enjoy Life Stamp Set.    Embellishments are from my retired stash.  I think he did a great job!

Create with a child- spread the love of being creative!

Love to create, but don't want to have alot of "stuff".  This kit is fabulous!
